From my own experience – and with all my heart.
For many years, I functioned in the corporate world of real estate and finance. I held various positions of responsibility, always performing and delivering. Yet I lived with a quiet, persistent feeling that what I did for a living didn't reflect who I truly was.
A restlessness, a heaviness, and a longing whose roots I didn't understand followed me into other areas of life, too. I unconsciously sabotaged deep relationships, keeping them permanently out of reach. A deep loneliness took root, and it felt like a silent fight against the world: I fought, but I never truly arrived.
For a long time I did not listen.
Until I had to.
My body and my soul forced me to pause and look honestly – at myself, at my story, at the patterns that had quietly steered my life for so long. What followed was an intense, painful yet profoundly transformative journey: through therapy, bodywork and personal development I began to understand who I am and why I function the way I do.
I learned that many of our present-day patterns are deeply rooted in our past: in the family, in early experiences, in what we had to learn as children in order to survive or function and that they have become etched into our bodies through the nervous system.
This realization was deeply healing and changed my life. It set me on the path I walk today. Now, with deep gratitude, conviction and a sense of calling, I get to do what I love: accompanying people on their journeys.
How I work
Your Safe Space is a place where you can open up safely. Be entirely yourself – without shame, without a mask, without pressure to perform.
I meet you as an equal – without judgement, without ready-made answers. My approach is holistic: I look not only at what you think, but also at what you feel. What your body carries. What lies behind your reactions.
I believe that every person carries the resources they need within themselves. Sometimes it simply takes someone to help uncover them.
My background in the corporate world helps me understand my clients' reality. The pressure to perform, the expectations, the exhaustion that arises when for years you are there for others more than for yourself.
You don't have to prove anything here. You may simply arrive.
Body-centred psychological counselling IKP
I work according to the approach of body-centred psychological counselling IKP, developed by Dr med. Yvonne Maurer.
Anyone who thinks and analyses a lot knows the feeling: you understand your problem precisely, and still nothing changes. That is not for lack of insight. Tension, exhaustion and old patterns sit not only in the mind but also in the body. How they show themselves differs from person to person: shallow breathing, heavy shoulders or a tiredness that remains even after a holiday are just some of many possible signs. This level cannot be ignored. It wants to be noticed.
That is why I combine the clarifying conversation with attention to what is happening inside you at the same time. We observe, for example, your breathing, your posture, your tension or other perceptions in the body. Nothing happens without your consent, and you set the pace.
IKP Body-centred psychological counselling takes six dimensions of life into account:
Body & Psyche
Symptoms, thoughts and feelings
Space & Time
Boundaries, pace and biography
Environment & Meaning
Relationships, work and values
We feel well when these dimensions are in balance. That is exactly where we work: we look at what is taking up a lot of space and what is neglected and bring both back into balance step by step.
With couples, the body often shows what remains unspoken in conversation: withdrawal, tension, distance. We work with that too.
What changes as a result does not stop at an insight – it becomes tangible and stands the test of everyday life.
